Some of these gifts may seem small compared to everything a family is facing, but sometimes taking just one worry off someone’s plate can make a meaningful difference.
Investing in Future Nurses
Piper’s Purpose also provides nursing scholarships to students pursuing careers dedicated to caring for others.
Our first two scholarship recipients have each received a $500 scholarship, with the opportunity to continue receiving support each semester for up to four years.
The true impact of these scholarships cannot be measured by the amount of the check alone.
We may help educate one nurse, but we will never know every patient that nurse will care for, every family they will comfort or every life they will touch throughout their career.
That is part of the beauty of planting Piper seeds.

We may not always get to see the fruit of every seed we plant.
Some will grow right in front of us. Others may grow quietly for years. Some may touch people we will never meet.
But every family helped, every student supported and every burden made a little lighter is another Piper seed planted.
The fruit of those seeds is already growing all around us.

We do not believe the success of Piper’s Purpose should be measured by how much money sits in a bank account. We want the generosity entrusted to this foundation to go back out into the world and do what it was given to do: help people.
